Adoption Fees

Adopt a Golden Nashville’s adoption fees vary by age. Adoption fees help offset the medical costs for all our incoming and current dogs. All AGN dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, treated for any known infections or major medical issues, tested (and treated if needed) for heartworms, given heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. There sometimes is a need for further diagnostics and/or surgeries. Any medical issue is treated by AGN prior to adoption.

The adoption fees are significantly less that the average cost spent per AGN dog on medical care.

Dogs 1-4 years = $375 
Dogs 5-8 years = $325
 Dogs 9 years and older = $250
Dogs 11 years old and over = Donation of Adopter’s Choice 
Purebred puppies (up to 6 months old) = $600
Purebred puppies (6 months old up to 1 year old) = $500  
Mixed puppies (up to 1 year old) = $400
