Adopt a Golden Nashville is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the rescue, care, evaluation and placement of abandoned or unwanted golden retrievers. Our mission is to promote the understanding, appreciation and care of canines among the general public through education about responsible pet ownership. We endeavor to raise awareness regarding the extraordinary unwanted pet population, and do our part to decrease it.

'Tis the Season to GIVE! This holiday season, consider donating to our AGN orphans from our Santa Paws Wish List or making a tax-deductible gift .
Thank you from the bottom of our Golden Hearts!

We join our sister rescue Adopt a Golden Atlanta in rescuing the 1000th Turkey Dog and bringing them to America!! Our Turkey Dogs are named after great American women whose actions and bravery have changed our country in amazing ways!

Our Turkey Dogs are named Amelia and Clara. Amelia is named in honor of Amelia Earhart, an American aviator and author who was the first American woman to fly solo across the Atlantic ocean. Clara is named in honor of Clara Barton, an American nurse during the Civil War and founder of the American Red Cross.

Both girls have arrived in Nashville and need extensive vet visit, diagnostics and medical care to make sure they are as healthy as can be before they finds her forever home! It is a costly undertaking to bring these dogs to their new life in America but worth every penny to see their transformation from life on the streets to the good life. No cent goes wasted...every bit goes to help the dogs and ensure an amazing life here in the US!

We are seeking sponsorships for the new Turkey Dogs to help pay for their plane ride. Sponsorships are $500 and are considered a tax-deductible donation.

However, in order to continue to save these Golden Retrievers in Turkey, we need financial support, and therefore donations of any amount will help us give these dogs a better life. Thank you!

Please contribute to our efforts by making a donation!
